SASSA Provides Channels to Lodge Grant Complaints and Enquiries

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has urged beneficiaries with complaints, enquiries or disputes regarding their social grants to use the official channels provided for this purpose.

According to SASSA, grant beneficiaries can lodge complaints or make enquiries via email or the customer care line. For email enquiries or complaints, beneficiaries should send their queries to [email protected].

Alternatively, SASSA’s toll-free customer care line 0800 60 10 11 is also available for beneficiaries to call in with any grant-related issues they may be experiencing.

SASSA stressed the importance of beneficiaries using these designated enquiry channels to ensure their issues are attended to efficiently and through the correct procedures.

Common reasons for contacting SASSA include enquiries about payment dates, lapsing grants, application status updates or raising disputes over rejected applications, suspended or cancelled grants.

Customer care agents and the [email protected] email are equipped to receive all types of complaints or enquiries related to SASSA’s service delivery. Beneficiaries are assured their issues will be looked into by the relevant SASSA teams.

SASSA encouraged beneficiaries to make use of the enquiries platforms so that any inadequate service or disputes can be swiftly addressed and rectified where valid complaints are raised.
